I tried this yesterday in the Cinnamon Roll flavor. I paired it with Betty Crocker Decadent Supreme in Cinnabon Cinnamon Swirl. I forgot to swirl and just mixed the cinnamon in the cake mix. Actually, I think it turned out even better. I also bought two more cans of the Frosting Creations Starter, two more packets of the Frosting Creations Flavor Mix (Chocolate Marshmallow & Orange Cream), two more cake mixes (Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe Fudge Marble & Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe Pineapple Supreme). I'm pairing them like this: Fudge Marble Cake w/Chocolate Marshmallow Frosting and Pineapple Supreme Cake w/Orange Cream Frosting. I also plan to add sliced bananas to the top of the cooled Pineapple/Orange Cake, for a Pineapple/Orange/Banana cake, which was inspired by Dole Pineapple/Orange/Banana juice. Can't wait to make the other two, but we have to finish the cinnamon one first. It's wonderful, though! :)
